Hiya gys-ers! Things are heating up for our game dev team. Ashfall MUST go live-- and here is your news update on it. Brace yourself for a volcanic eruption of puns...and some 'heart warming stories. Be careful not to get hot headed though. It is not always easy building a massively multiplayer cross-platform world, but you know what they say, "If you can't take the heat, stay out of the server room."
In order to release Ashfall, we must have the newest hot patch for AdventureQuest 3D live on all platforms. This smoking hot new submission has erupted into a few problems. It will probably not be out pompay or tomorrow. It is only geo-logical that we will need a few days of testing after it is ready since this new game update's ring of fire will engulf every previous zone too.
Talking about turning the heat up... nearly half the team is at now home sick with high fevers and infectious green lava flowing from their nose. Great timing! *Two burnt thumbs up* But we are keeping a sniff upper lip and going with the flow. Current body count: Cysero, Yergen, Dage, Oishii, Llusion, Faith, and Rolith. (I just recently recovered...)
There was a nearly un-magma-nimous response to my last post. And, we always do our best to crater to your needs... even to a fault. So we are adding bonus content and quests to give you more to do and to get truly fired up over it. While the (molten) core storyline is casual and fun, the bonus extreme explorers content will be for those crazy enough to leap from the frying pan into the fire!
Our release day is as unpredictable as a volcanic eruption... but not too much longer judging by the rumblings & Steam. It is OK to Vent. Do not let your fellow players get all ba-salty over this. Keep a positive magnitude. Because when this release finally erupts, it is going to be a blast!
