Attention all heroes of Lore! It’s time to trade in your swords, staves, and spells for something slightly sharper… a carving knife! We are excited to announce the Artix Entertainment Pumpkin Carving Contest since everyone’s favorite spooky holiday, Mogloween, is now upon us. Whether you summon your inner Necromancer or embrace the Moglin-inspired spirit of the season, we want to see how you transform humble gourds into something spooktacular 🎃
Begins Friday, October 4th, 2024
Ends Friday, November 1st, 2024, at 11:59pm Eastern Time (Florida time)
Contest is open to all players worldwide! But your game account MUST be in good standing in order to win a prize.
All entries must be Artix Entertainment themed. Maybe you’ll carve your favorite character, an iconic location, or a fearsome boss from ~any~ Artix game!
Get creative! You can carve any pumpkin, gourd, or other helpless vegetable you can get your hands on. Feel free to add props, lights, or maybe even some paint – but just make sure carving is the main feature.
All pumpkin designs must be carved by YOU! This goes without saying, but no AI art and no stealing someone else’s work. We want to see YOUR skills shine – or, rather, glow with an eerie light.
Oh my gourd – there’s no limit to how many pumpkins you can carve! Feel free to submit as many masterpieces as you like, but remember: each person can only win one prize, regardless of the number of submissions. Artix Entertainment may also choose to feature just one of your designs when we announce our winners.

If pumpkins aren’t available in your area, don’t worry – there are plenty of other stabby-stab options to help you get into the Mogloween spirit! Feel free to experiment with whatever is available near you. Here are some fun ideas:
🥔 Turnips
Did you know turnips were the original jack-o’-lanterns? Carefully carve into their pale flesh – but try not to aggro the salad bar :D
🍉 Watermelons
Watermelons are a fantastic substitute! They’re easy to carve, delicious to slurp down, and the green rind can add a unique pop of color to your creation.
🥒 Gourds and Squash
Smaller gourds and squash come in all shapes and sizes, perfect for crafting intricate designs. NTM, they give off serious autumn vibes!
🍎 Apples
Apples may be small, but they’re mighty! Try carving a logo, class icon, a stupid derpfish, or something small on an apple and then light it up for a spooky effect!
🍍 Pineapples
Want to make your carving tropical and terrifying? Pineapples offer a quirky alternative with a spiky twist!
🍈 Cantaloupes & Honeydews
These melons have soft, easy-to-carve surfaces and a slightly creepy, otherworldly glow when lit from within.
🍂 Butternut Squash
Long and sleek, butternut squash could be perfect for carving a character’s face!
🫑 Bell Peppers
For a small, quick carving session, bell peppers are surprisingly versatile. Plus, all the different colors give you a lot of creative freedom!

Carve out some time, channel your inner artist, and let’s make this Mogloween the most ‘gourd’geous one yet 🤣 Be sure to submit your entry before the stroke of midnight on November 1st, because, let’s face it: trick-or-treating is exhausting and slipping into a candy coma is a legit threat 🍬 No judgment if we catch you carving with one hand while plowing through a chocolate bar with the other.
