Player Housing Spotlight: Yue Gu Zhen by Haziroth
Tranquility with a Twist
Tucked away on the Red Dragon server and built by Haziroth in 2024, Yue Gu Zhen—meaning Village of the Lunar Valley—is straight-up stunning! Yue Gu Zhen was meticulously crafted and full of lore-inspired touches that’ll stop you in your tracks in order to capture that *perfect* screenie!
As Haziroth puts it, “Yue Gu Zhen is one of the most noble settlements in the lore of the Guild Imperial Nation, conceived as an eternal symbol of the guild's grand legacy.”
But this was no ordinary build, because it marked a major milestone:
“This memorable milestone was inaugurated in celebration of our guild's seventh anniversary, reflecting not only our iconic colors but also our remarkable achievement of 1 billion in guild funds after an intense grind of 10 weeks.”
10 weeks to rack up 1 billion gold?! Omg Haziroth, please invest my money IRL 💸💖
Built With Intention & Imagination
Haziroth, alongside fellow guildmate Oh Prime, transformed the Greenguard Quarry into a serene retreat far removed from the usual chaos.
“Despite its grandeur and beauty, it neither compares to nor seeks to rival ShiCheng – the majestic Lion City and the current base of the Guild Imperial Nation.”
Instead, Yue Gu Zhen reimagines the space into a peaceful moonlit valley—“a sanctuary of peace and tranquility”—built for reflection, not battle. No dungeons. No raids. No cutthroat PvP matches. Just an oasis of calm where the beauty of peace permeates every corner.
The Details Speak Volumes
Every inch of this build has meaning. From lanterns to the landscape, this place was planned with a storyteller’s touch.
“Architectural elements, such as the gargoyle statues carefully placed to represent the legendary Fu Dogs, or lions, directly honor the imposing and noble profile of the Guild Imperial Nation."
These aren’t just decorations—they’re symbols of strength, courage, and leadership, echoing the values the guild lives by.
Haziroth says this is “the first in a series of maps inspired by the lore of our members and the guild’s own history.” Oh wow, this kind of commitment is legendary! And we can't wait for more! Last year, Imperial Nation [LIONS] stole the Guild Spotlight, so we are eager to see what Haziroth and his guildmates build next.
Yue Gu Zhen sets the bar sky-high for what Player Housing in AQ3D can represent—not just aesthetically, but emotionally, too. This isn’t just about flexing sandbox skills. It’s about legacy. Intention. Identity. And in a world full of shadowy castles and spooky dungeons, this serene space dares to say, “Nah bro, let's just relax and rest for a while.”
