The first person you'll meet in the new Heartwood is Auden, the traveling merchant. She's capable and she's seen a lot on her travels, but she's a trader, not a fighter.
She was concepted and painted by Thyton. I LOVE her design. Xero did the 3D modeling.

We definitely went overboard with the number of cinematic cutscenes in Heartwood forest. As you read this, our animators Xero & Xentry are working at light speed. When we said we wanted this release to set the new bar for the game, the team did not hold back. It will feature our first escort quest, and a memorable story featuring the Guardians, Reed, an acient talking tree, new loot, our new item leveling system, and the 1st of Void King Vane's commanders.
