Dage's Birthday Suit... of Armor

Happy Birthday Dage!

One of our most talented, creative, and beloved artists leveled up in real life today! To celebrate the we have special events in TWO of our games! Tonight (Friday) a special release is happening in AQWorlds's underworld at www.AQ.com.

Then, next Wednesday... we have a new area, story, and item collection coming for you here in AdventureQuest 3D!

Sneak Peek of Armors

For the past few weeks, Dage has been burning the midnight oil creating armor sets for both of the games. He uses a giant Cintiq drawing monitor to do his work here at the lab... but he does not have one when he works late at home. So we surprised him with a gift. Just look at the expression on his face when he realizes why the meeting was called :D I posted another video right after this one of him opening the box with his teeth O_O.

This is a work-in progress. You can see the color swabs on the right. Artist, Thyton, created the wicked looking bone puncher weapon in the upper right. It fits over your character's hand and has two blades. He also created the shield pictured below.

Some of these items will be available from the new map and story, and some will be included in the collection.

Rabblefroth has been coding a new feature for the Necromancer class... we officially have a skill that summons.... a bush!?
Yergen and Zhoom have been working on something in boss room of next week's release.
Voltaire is playing a show in Tampa, Florida tonight and Orlando tomorrow
New game version of AdventureQuest 3D (1.7.7) is going live on Monday which includes "titles" and Grim Reaper.
Vesper made a video showing off two of the new features. (I need to hurry up and edit it this weekend)
Xero remodeled the Twilly, Zorbak, and the moglins to be higher poly.
Paladin skills, animations, and soundfx are done.
We have concept art of the upcoming Shaman Forest (actually.. it is not a forest, it is a giant Tree of Life) to show you next week.
