The entire town is ablaze and several buildings have already collapsed. It is too late to evacuate any of the townsfolk that remain. Our only choice is to fight!

Both of these DragonSlayers defied Galanoth’s strict orders to remain at the DragonSlayer’s camp in Ashfall where they were planning the upcoming assault on the Volcano. With these two helping us in Battleon… our odds at winning just got a lot better. Join them in town and take down the dragon, Wrythion!

Charred by dragon fire and the burning buildings of our home town, the Dark Defender set is a symbol of our unbreakable courage to battle on! Our most die-hard defenders can earn this armor set by defending town and reaching Rank 20. There are tons of other items you can unlock through his quests too.
The Dragon Invasion of Battleon is a special event that is happening in real time and will only ever happen once. Events like this may (OK, *this* one definitely will) permanently change our online game world in an awesome way. Join us online and become a part of our world’s history.

If you have guessed where this event is going, then you probably also know it would have been much easier to achieve our ultimate goal without an event.
