AdventureQuest 3D's Necromancer class is now available for everyone to test on the PTR (Public Test Realm).
As a Necromancer, you summon an undead minion to fight for you. Excellent company if you are feeling lonely. But they do not last long. This first type of Necromancer can only summon a single skeletal minion for a short period of time before it collapses into dust. No worries, summoning more is the fun part. Your special summons a giant skeleton which is extra fun. Everyone is invited to help us test and give us feedback. We have been carefully reading the comments so far and are working on increasing its power, and getting a little life leach when you cast your dark magic. This class plays very differently from our previous ones!
We are anticipating releasing Paladin for all players in the upcoming Doomwood Revamp. We are not sure if Necromancer will be released there, opposing Paladin (which would be fun-- and I really want to add the Tower of Necromancer). Or, if we will release Necromancer in the Dragon's Graveyard. Meanwhile, Alpha Pirate (Similar to Pirate Class) has had great progress. It is our first dual wielding hand cannon class. Zhoom is adding new equip slots to the database (Bow & Guns) to support the new models and animations we have ready. Finally, Ninja has had some setbacks. The original "different skills cause different combos to start" style game-play was ultimately too confusing. Rabblefroth is trying something different. I am still crossing my fingers for shirken and double jump. Battle on!
