New Contest: Design a Poster for Burger Hero!

Calling all heroes who have a hunger for artistic flair… and juicy hamburgers! We have an exciting opportunity for you—which will pave the path for future contests of this nature 🙌 We are thrilled to announce our inaugural "Design a Poster for AQ3D” contest, where your artistic skills could land you a permanent place in Burger Hero’s ‘wall’ of fame!

I know it’s a dream come true for many a hero who wishes to have their art immortalized in digital fast food restaurants, and I know you’re ready to dive into your doodling, but before we begin…

What the hecc is Burger Hero?

Burger Hero is Lore’s first (and only?) restaurant. What started off as a joke for April Fool’s Day has now evolved into a poppin place where heroes and villains and semi-retired sorta-spooky pizza parlor animatronics hang out. You can access Burger Hero by typing /join burgerhero in the game chat, or discover the restaurant inside the Adventures menu by clicking the main Menu > Adventures > Side Stories > Burger Hero.

Fair warning though: there’s some really wacky food on the menu… like the Monster Meat Burger 😳… aaaand there’s even wackier art adorning the walls. So it’s high time for a makeover! And, better yet, what if we give our players the opportunity to showcase their amazing art skills at the same time?!

Design a Burger Hero Poster Contest Rules

Theme: Artwork inspired by the delicious goodness of Burger Hero. We’re talking pizza, dricken tendies, hero gyros, and/or burgers 🍕🍗🥙🍔
Your art MUST be created by YOU: No use of game art, no stealing / tracing / copying someone else’s art, no commissioning art, no teaming up with someone else, and no AI art is allowed. This contest is to showcase YOUR artistic talent and to celebrate OUR wonderful artists in the Artix community.
Medium: Submissions can be digital art or physical drawings created by you. 2D and 3D (and 4D?!) art welcome! Feel free to use any digital painting software or tools of your choice to bring your vision to life.
Eligibility: Open to every gamer worldwide, but your AQ3D account must be in good standing in order to win a prize.
Entries: Up to 2 poster entries allowed per player.
Sketch / Work-In-Progress required: This is an absolute must so we can determine that you’re truly the awesome artist responsible for such a masterpiece!

Prizes:

6 Grand Prize Winners will be chosen. Each will win 2000 Dragon Crystals, a special “Painting Purveyor” Title and Character Badge, and have their art put in AQ3D. Grand Prize Winners will also be paid real money 🤑 We will privately discuss compensation with our winners.
Runner Ups and Honorable Mentions will also be selected. Dragon Crystal prizes will be distributed depending on the scores they receive from our panel of judges.
As always, we reserve the right to award additional prizes and reward players who go above and beyond!

You are free to also upload your artwork in the comments below, and/or on socials like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram so that your fellow heroes can see what you cooked up! However, ONLY the entries received on the Google Form will be judged since we need your art to have the highest resolution possible in order for it to look amazing in AQ3D.

Submit your awesome art no later than 11:59pm EDT on Monday, April 1, 2024 on the Burger Hero Contest Google Form.

Important Legal Stuff:

By submitting your entry, you grant Artix Entertainment permission to use your artwork for promotional purposes. We will reach out directly to all artists with entries we'd like to add directly into the game so we can discuss buying the rights to your design.

This contest marks the beginning of an exciting journey to integrate player-created art into AQ3D. In the future, we plan to host more "design a poster / design a painting" contests, with winning artworks finding their way into Player Houses (coming tomorrow, btw!) and other locations across Lore.
